Job Summary

This critical role ensures the integrity and security of payment solutions for Pagateq, a Deutsche Bank subsidiary, by managing the core cryptographic infrastructure. The Key and Crypto Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous development of the Private Key Infrastructure (PKI) and the central application used for managing cryptographic keys. Daily tasks involve ensuring compliance with stringent national and international IT security standards and managing the complete lifecycle of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). Candidates must possess a strong background, typically a degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, and proven professional experience translating complex IT technical processes into robust IT architecture. This position offers an opportunity to actively shape the future IT landscape of a major European payment institution in Bonn, working collaboratively in a high-security environment.
