Job Summary
This role offers a challenging and diverse opportunity within the municipal Treasury/Chamberlain's office, focusing on core financial administration and controlling functions. The specialist will be crucial in establishing and maintaining the cost and performance accounting system, including cost type, cost object, and cost center calculations, and preparing comprehensive operating cost statements for municipal properties. Key responsibilities also include data preparation, internal cost allocations, assisting in the creation of annual financial statements, and contributing to the draft budget plan. Furthermore, the role involves deputizing for personnel administration tasks related to calculating and processing salaries and compensation. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and foundational knowledge of financial accounting principles, preferably supported by administrative training and familiarity with public sector regulations like SächsKomHVO and TVöD.

Preferably, a completed vocational training/apprenticeship in the administrative sector.
Experience
- Professional experience in commercial and administrative law areas (desirable)
- Experience in the public sector (desirable)
- Knowledge of financial bookkeeping
- Familiarity with German commercial and public sector regulations (HGB, SächsGemO, SächsKomHVO, BGB, BetrKV, TVöD) (advantageous)
