Job Summary

This role involves leading In-Service Support Projects crucial for maintaining or restoring the operational readiness of complex optoelectronic systems, specifically within the Border Surveillance sector for a global leader in the defense and armaments industry. Key responsibilities include planning, controlling, and executing measures to ensure the supply capability of these systems, managing international service deployments, and defining and approving work packages concerning scope, deadlines, and target costs. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering Sciences or a natural science field like Physics or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with professional experience, ideally in a leadership capacity. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken), and the ability to negotiate and manage complex service and subcontractor contracts. Travel readiness (national and international) is mandatory for this full-time position.
