This role offers a challenging opportunity as an ICT System Specialist within the Central IT department of a cantonal administration, focusing on operating and continuously optimizing complex IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing virtualization environments (VMware vSphere, Omnissa Horizon), administering Windows and Linux servers, operating Red Hat OpenShift container platforms, and ensuring IT security compliance. You will be instrumental in change management, planning and implementing updates and releases, and actively contributing to digitalization projects by developing technical concepts. This position requires profound knowledge of virtualization technologies and extensive experience in server administration, coupled with strong automation skills using PowerShell and Ansible.
