Job Summary

The Rhein-Selz municipal association is seeking two dedicated Nature Conservation Managers to join the Environment department on a permanent basis. This highly responsible and varied role is crucial for environmental stewardship within the region. Day-to-day tasks involve acting as the Managing Director of the Flügelbach-Kinsbach Water Association and overseeing the professional maintenance of third-order water bodies and local woody plants. Key responsibilities also include planning and leading critical renaturation projects, managing administrative procedures related to conservation, and providing expert consultation to local government officials, colleagues, and citizens, including stream patrons. Candidates must possess a successfully completed degree in Landscape Management, Nature Conservation, or a related discipline, coupled with fluency in written and spoken German (C1 level). Proficiency in MS Office and basic skills in GIS and image processing are essential.
