Job Summary
The Service Engineer (IT Support) ensures the reliable and smooth operation of ADAC Air Rescue's critical IT systems. This role serves as the central point of contact for employees, quickly identifying and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, networking, and user rights, primarily handling 1st and 2nd-Level support requests. Key responsibilities include proactive system monitoring, regular maintenance to prevent downtime, and meticulous IT Asset Management, covering the entire lifecycle of hardware. The successful candidate will also manage user accounts, access controls, and enforce security policies. You will be responsible for continuous optimization of workflows and ensuring compliance with IT security standards. This position requires a background as an IT Specialist or similar, strong IT administration knowledge, experience with Azure, and excellent communication skills in German and English to support both specialized departments and field crews, allowing them to focus entirely on life-saving missions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or similar qualification in the IT field
Experience
- Professional experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or Application Support (preferably multiple years)
- Experience in analyzing and resolving 2nd- and 3rd-Level technical issues
- Experience in the reliable operation of business-critical applications
