Job Summary
This role serves as the primary point of contact for all technical inquiries within the Mittelmärkische Wasser- und Abwasser GmbH (MWA). The specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing, and documenting IT disturbances and service requests, providing initial analysis, and resolving common IT issues related to hardware, software, and networking. Key tasks include installing and configuring standard software and end devices, managing user accounts and access rights across systems like Active Directory, ERP, Entra ID, and O365, and escalating complex issues to the Second Level Support team. Candidates should possess a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with foundational knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and experience with ticket/remote support systems.
