Job Summary

This Senior Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a company's data and AI systems, driving the development of an AI-native data platform within a fast-growing ClimateTech startup. The successful candidate will operate as a 'full-stack' data professional, spanning data infrastructure, Business Intelligence (BI), and advanced AI engineering. Day-to-day tasks include architecting and deploying AI-powered systems into production (e.g., using RAG architectures), building scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines (utilizing tools like Lambda, Glue, and Terraform), and evolving the core data model for analytics. This position requires strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Beyond technical delivery, the role involves significant leadership, mentoring, and strategic collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders to lay the groundwork for a high-performing Data & AI team.
