Job Summary

Join SAP's PlusOne Central Engineering team to build Europe's sovereign cloud infrastructure, focusing specifically on cutting-edge network automation within the EU's IPCEI-CIS initiative (Apeiro Reference Architecture). This role involves developing Kubernetes operators and controllers to automate network provisioning and orchestration across various European cloud providers, bridging cloud-native platforms with physical and virtual network infrastructure. You will utilize Go and modern network APIs to create systems that eliminate vendor lock-in and enable seamless workload portability. The ideal candidate brings 2-4 years of software development or infrastructure automation experience, familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and a strong interest in networking protocols and open-source contribution, particularly within the Linux Foundation's NeoNephos ecosystem.
