Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Civil Engineer specializing in Road and Traffic Engineering to join the Municipal Construction and Planning Office in Isernhagen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, renovation, new construction, and modification of public traffic areas, including roads and sewers. Day-to-day tasks involve commissioning planning, construction, and supply services, providing expert supervision of external planning offices, reviewing road construction measures, and managing the overall construction supervision (Oberbauleitung). The position also includes managing the municipal street lighting systems (supplementation, modification, and renovation). This is a permanent, full-time position (suitable for part-time) offering flexible work arrangements, including home office options, targeted professional development, and competitive public sector compensation (TVöD EG 11).
