Job Summary

This critical role involves leading and executing complex testing procedures for new or modified software, firmware, and hardware, specifically within the security and access control domain. The Lead Test Technician will be responsible for planning, setting up, monitoring, and evaluating difficult and extensive test series within the IQ MultiAccess and Winmag test environments, ensuring the functional capability and market readiness of products. Key responsibilities also include managing test equipment, mentoring junior test staff, replicating customer complaints, and conducting return investigations and validation checks (Q-Gates). The ideal candidate must possess a technical qualification (e.g., certified technician), profound knowledge of testing methods and complex test arrangements, and specific experience with Honeywell's intrusion alarm and access control systems (MB-classic, MB-Secure, ACS-series).
