Job Summary

This role involves working as a Development Engineer focused on Connectivity and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for embedded systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing concepts and solutions for data loggers and IoT applications, defining functional requirements, and coordinating development activities with external suppliers. The engineer will also support device and system testing, manage crucial release and certification processes (including for railway and marine applications), and oversee serial production devices. Key qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with experience in embedded systems, specifically bus systems like CAN and Ethernet, ideally within the automotive, railway, or aerospace sectors. Proficiency in both German and English is required, along with programming experience, preferably C/C++, for embedded systems.
