Job Summary

This full-time IP Manager role at LTS, a global pharmaceutical service company specializing in advanced drug delivery systems (patches, films), serves as the critical link between internal R&D departments and external patent attorneys. The core mission is to safeguard the company's innovations by converting inventions into strong intellectual property rights, thereby enhancing the LTS patent portfolio and ensuring freedom-to-operate for development projects. Daily tasks involve preparing and executing state-of-the-art patent searches, evaluating results, providing patent law support for ongoing development projects, and actively identifying and assessing new inventions. The manager will also be responsible for monitoring competitor patent activities and coordinating complex legal proceedings, such as examination, opposition, and appeal procedures, in collaboration with external counsel. Candidates must possess a scientific degree, preferably in Chemistry or Pharmacy, coupled with strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities in both German and English.
