Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced and proactive IT Systems Manager responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of all Information and Communication Technology (IKT) matters. Day-to-day tasks involve providing essential 1st and 2nd level support both remotely and on-site, managing the hardware lifecycle (installation, testing, commissioning), and executing IT projects, particularly for new hardware implementation. The manager will also be tasked with continuous monitoring of server and network hardware, managing backup operations, and supporting GDPR compliance efforts. A key requirement is deep technical knowledge across multiple operating systems, including macOS (the primary client environment), iOS, Windows, and Android, coupled with expertise in network technologies (Firewall, Switches, WLAN). The ideal candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in administering critical software services such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Cloud. This permanent, full-time position requires a highly organized, communicative, and solution-oriented professional with fluent German and English skills, offering a competitive salary structure.
Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman in Information Technology (Informationstechnikermeister/in) or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in Information Technology
- Experience with network technologies (NAS, Switches, WLAN, Firewall, PBX)
- Experience in IT project management and implementation
- Professional experience in system monitoring and problem resolution (server and network hardware, backup tasks)
