The trainee will be primarily responsible for hardware design, including schematic and layout development, and comprehensive system validation. Day-to-day tasks involve working with microcontrollers, configuring firmware, performing datalogging and scripting, and extensive testing of power Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). A key focus area is motor control validation, requiring adjustment of inverter settings, performing speed and torque profiles, and competitive analysis. Success requires a solid foundation in electrical engineering, specific knowledge of motor control applications and inverter topologies (like BLDC/PMSM), and familiarity with CAD systems and simulation tools.
