Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the quality of innovative products by taking responsibility for precise metrology and process optimization on state-of-the-art manufacturing systems. The specialist will be responsible for programming measurement sequences based on CAD data, conducting necessary measurements, and surveying surfaces using contour and roughness measuring systems. Key daily tasks include creating detailed measurement protocols, performing statistical evaluations, and conducting product-specific tests during manufacturing. A crucial part of the job is coordinating measurement strategies with internal departments, customers, and suppliers. Candidates must have completed technical training, professional experience in metrology, and proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Good written and spoken English skills are required for effective communication.
