This role is a crucial opportunity for an (Junior) Project Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering to manage and oversee infrastructure expansion and maintenance projects for the German rail network (Deutsche Bahn), specifically focusing on the major S4 S-Bahn line project in Hamburg. The successful candidate will independently manage projects from planning phases 3 through 8 (HOAI), ensuring timely and quality execution of electrical systems works, including power rail and 50 Hz systems. Daily tasks involve project controlling—monitoring schedules, costs, risks, and quality—as well as preparing project reports, analyzing potential threats to project goals, and developing counter-measures. The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Business Engineering, strong interest in transport infrastructure project management, proficiency in MS Office, and fluent German language skills for negotiation and documentation.
