Job Summary

This role is for a Specialist Consultant/Electrical Engineer within DB Regio AG in Munich, focusing on ensuring the safe, compliant, and economical maintenance of rail vehicles to enhance vehicle availability. Day-to-day, you will provide technical leadership to maintenance specialists, manage measuring equipment, and ensure quality-assured work organization. A core responsibility involves optimizing site-specific processes for quality, cost, and efficiency using your analytical and design expertise. You will be responsible for creating, introducing, and updating work instructions and maintenance regulations. Additionally, you will act as a technical contact, monitor compliance with regulations, and perform safety-relevant assessments, including conducting electrical training (nVEF 50 Hz / 16.7 Hz). The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, possesses experience in rail vehicle systems and maintenance, and demonstrates strong leadership, goal orientation, and expertise in Lean Management.
