Job Summary
This role involves the crucial administration, planning, steering, and monitoring of process control and Redispatch systems for a leading municipal utility provider focused on sustainable energy infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include conceptualizing, planning, and executing the visualization and control of new projects across electricity, gas, water, and district heating networks. A core responsibility is managing complex control systems, maintaining data models within the process control environment (specifically PSIprins), and overseeing the critical Redispatch 2.0 processes, including network congestion management and network status forecasting. The ideal candidate must possess completed electrical engineering qualifications, multi-year professional experience within a utility company (EVU), and deep expertise in the interconnected nature of supply networks. Specific knowledge of PSIprins and PSIsaso process control systems is highly desired, along with experience in IT application development projects, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of the region's energy supply.
Required Skills
Education
Completed electrical engineering vocational training, with advanced training as a Master Electrician (Electrical Engineering focus) or Electrical Engineering Technician (Process Control focus), or equivalent knowledge and skills.
Experience
- Multi-year professional experience in a utility company (EVU)
- Experience in creating and maintaining data models in PSIprins and managing Redispatch processes in PSIsaso
- Experience in developing technical concepts and participating in IT application development projects
- Practical experience in Information Security Management of energy supply control systems
- Prior experience in the administration of process control systems is desirable
