Job Summary
This role involves the design and development of electrical switchgear for machinery within a specialized control cabinet construction firm. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, including conceptualizing, creating, and maintaining planning, product, and manufacturing documentation. Key day-to-day tasks include generating electrical schematics, parts lists, and assembly drawings, managing project execution for existing production series, and coordinating technical details with both customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate holds a qualification in automation or electrical engineering (e.g., Technician or Master Electrician level) and ideally brings professional experience in electrical system design and automation/control cabinet construction. Proficiency in CAD software, specifically EPLAN Electric P8, is highly desirable, along with general MS Office skills.
