Mechanical Engineering Design Technician | Konstruktionstechniker Maschinenbau (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves supporting exciting projects for renowned mechanical engineering clients, focusing on creating secure and sustainable technology solutions. As a Mechanical Engineering Design Technician, you will be responsible for the design and detailed development of construction plans for devices, machines, and systems using various CAD programs. Key daily tasks include creating simulations and 3D models, testing newly developed prototypes to ensure functionality, quality, and safety, and preparing bills of materials and assembly instructions. Success in this position requires a completed technical education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics, coupled with strong technical comprehension and the ability to analyze complex relationships. You must possess good knowledge of CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) and be adept at creating technical drawings and documentation, while collaborating closely with development engineers, product designers, manufacturing colleagues, and customers.
