Job Summary

This role involves supporting a client as a Hardware and Software Test Engineer, focusing on the testing of modern industrial systems composed of networked control components (both hardware and software). Key responsibilities include creating comprehensive test plans, developing test cases and protocols, and programming automated test sequences based on functional specifications. The engineer will plan and execute commissioning, practical, and acceptance tests for project-specific functionalities and overall system qualification. A core part of the job is conducting and documenting detailed error analyses and deriving change documentation related to functional software content. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field, possesses initial practical experience in testing electronic systems and software, and has programming knowledge (e.g., C, C++, or Python). Fluency in English and good German skills are required for effective communication.
