Job Summary
This role involves developing and maintaining critical IT applications focused on risk management and regulatory reporting within a banking environment. The developer will be responsible for measuring, monitoring, controlling, and reporting risks, working closely with business units to analyze banking requirements and advise on technological implementation options, particularly within a Data Warehouse setting. Key responsibilities include implementing innovative IT solutions to ensure a stable, secure, and high-performing system landscape. Candidates should possess a degree in a MINT field (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) or equivalent IT training, coupled with initial knowledge of relational databases and scripting languages like SQL and Bash. The position offers the opportunity to actively shape the future of the core banking system, work in flat hierarchies, and eventually take on the leadership of smaller IT projects.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in a MINT field (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) or certified training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker)
Experience
- Professional experience in IT application development for risk management and regulatory reporting
- Initial knowledge of relational databases and scripting languages
- Experience working in IT projects
