Job Summary

This role involves working as a Product Engineer in direct placement for a medium-sized company in Nonnweiler, focusing heavily on procurement and technical compliance within the medical device sector. Key responsibilities include the purchasing of raw materials, operating supplies, tools, and services, alongside negotiating prices and managing the entire ordering process. The engineer will coordinate closely with order processing, production planning, and goods receipt, while also planning and monitoring raw material transports to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. A core aspect of the job is maintaining master data in SAP, developing procurement strategies, optimizing processes, and participating in local and global projects. Candidates must possess a degree in engineering (preferably plastics or medical technology), extensive experience in medical technology, and strong knowledge of material properties and plastic processing, coupled with expertise in technical documentation and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, 21CFR820).
