Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated Electronics or Mechatronics Technician to join a dedicated onshore team maintaining and repairing wind turbines near Spremberg, Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing scheduled maintenance, performing complex repairs, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults. You will work in small teams, ensuring meticulous documentation of all procedures and participating in extra-compensated on-call services to maintain 24/7 system operation. The ideal candidate holds vocational training in a relevant technical field and possesses knowledge of control systems, power electronics, and hydraulics. While experience in wind energy is a plus, motivated career changers are welcome. Crucially, candidates must be physically fit, comfortable working at great heights, and able to communicate effectively in German (B2 level required).
