Job Summary

This role involves joining a dedicated Onshore Service team based near Simmern, Germany, focusing on the maintenance, repair, and inspection of wind energy turbines. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults, replacing defective components, and ensuring meticulous documentation of all work performed. The successful candidate must be a certified Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Engineer, ideally with prior experience in wind energy, though motivated career changers are welcome. Critical requirements include technical knowledge in control engineering, hydraulics, and power electronics, as well as physical fitness and comfort working at great heights. This position offers a stable 38.5-hour work week, extensive training, and a strong team environment, with the benefit of typically returning home in the evenings due to localized deployment.

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Engineer, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in wind energy (Ideal, but not mandatory)
  • Experience working reliably, independently, and collaboratively in a team
