Job Summary

This permanent position in Dresden seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join a high-tech semiconductor company. The core focus of the role is ensuring the operational efficiency of complex production equipment through proactive and reactive maintenance. Day-to-day responsibilities involve localizing and troubleshooting faults across electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, conducting thorough preventative maintenance measures, and executing modifications or installations of new plant systems. A key aspect is supporting the installation and conversion of automation systems. Candidates must possess a relevant technical qualification, such as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or Industrial Mechanic certification, and be prepared to work in a cleanroom environment and adhere to a rolling shift schedule (6 days working, 4 days off). Strong written and spoken German is required, with English skills being beneficial for the role.
