Job Summary

This is an opportunity for a skilled Laboratory Technician to join a highly modern, automated dairy facility in Mechernich, operated by an internationally renowned food processing company. The core responsibilities focus on critical quality assurance and control within a global supply chain. Day-to-day tasks include conducting essential raw milk investigations, performing sensory evaluations of processed products, and executing specialized chemical analyses, such as determining the concentration and effectiveness of cleaning and disinfectant solutions, as well as testing drinking and process water quality. A key component of the role is the meticulous calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of all laboratory equipment, alongside participation in proficiency testing programs. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent, extensive professional experience in the food industry, and fluent German language skills, coupled with the mandatory willingness to work in a demanding 24/7 continuous shift model, including weekends and holidays.
