Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Electronics Technician or Electrician eager to work in the renewable energy sector, specifically focusing on the maintenance and repair of onshore wind turbines near the Merklingen location. The successful candidate will join a small, dedicated team responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults on wind energy systems. Key responsibilities include component replacement, professional documentation of work, and participation in extra-compensated on-call duties to ensure 24/7 operational readiness. Applicants must be physically fit, comfortable working at great heights, and possess strong knowledge in control engineering, power electronics, and hydraulics. This position offers excellent training, a 38.5-hour work week, and the benefit of working close to home, allowing technicians to generally return every evening.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Electrician, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in wind energy (ideal, but not mandatory)
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Experience in fault recognition and repair (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic)

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Must be physically fit and comfortable working at great heights (schwindelfrei).
  • Must possess a Class 3 or BE driver's license (PKW-Führerschein).
