Job Summary

This role is ideal for a qualified Electrician or Mechatronics Technician, or a motivated career changer, seeking to contribute to the energy transition by maintaining and repairing onshore wind turbines. Working in small, dedicated teams, you will be responsible for performing essential maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting tasks, addressing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults. Key duties include replacing defective components, ensuring professional repair of systems, and meticulous documentation of all procedures. Candidates must possess technical knowledge in control and regulation technology, hydraulics, and power electronics, and ideally, general mechanics. This position requires physical fitness and comfort working at great heights, along with the ability to communicate effectively in German (B2 level). The role offers continuous professional training in modern training centers and the benefit of working close to your residence, generally allowing you to return home in the evenings, while participating in compensated on-call services to ensure 24/7 operation.

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician or Mechatronics Technician, or an equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in wind energy (ideal)
  • Professional experience in troubleshooting technical installations (electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic)
  • Experience in performing maintenance and repair work

Languages

German (Intermediate)
