Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Electronics Technician or Electrician eager to work in the rapidly expanding field of renewable energy, focusing on onshore wind turbine maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will join a small, dedicated team performing essential maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems within wind energy plants. Key duties include diagnosing and resolving complex electrical and mechanical faults, replacing defective components, and ensuring meticulous documentation of all procedures. Candidates must possess professional training in electronics or electrical engineering, knowledge of control systems, power electronics, and be physically fit and comfortable working at great heights. This position offers the advantage of localized assignments, ensuring technicians are typically home every evening, while contributing directly to the energy transition.

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Electrician, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance and repair of electrical systems
  • Experience in wind energy (Ideal, but motivated career changers welcome)
  • Experience in fault detection and repair (electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic)
