Job Summary
This full-time role involves managing and optimizing complex data packages and databases crucial for the registration of plant protection products within a scientific consulting firm. The Data Manager will be responsible for database optimization, data organization, monitoring, and analysis, alongside comprehensive document management including migration, workflow definition, and metadata handling. A significant part of the role is dedicated to managing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), requiring expertise in GHS classification (EU/CLP and UN/GHS) and master data maintenance. The position requires a strong scientific background, particularly for the MSDS component, a keen interest in IT, and excellent communication skills for global collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Required Skills
Education
Scientific background (Biologist, Environmental Scientist, Agriculturist, or equivalent discipline) required for Safety Data Sheet management; preferred for general Data Manager role.
Experience
- Professional experience in GxP-regulated environments (advantageous)
- Experience in project management and process management tools (advantageous)
- Experience with software validation (advantageous)
- Demonstrated expertise in MSDS compilation according to REACH (mandatory for MSDS management)
- Experience with SAP systems (R/3 EHS module) (mandatory for MSDS management)
