Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated PhD Candidate to join the DFG-funded Research Training Group (RTG) 3095, focusing on protective and pathogenic antibody responses at immunological barrier organs. The selected candidate will conduct doctoral research within subproject P07, specifically investigating the identification and comparative analysis of circulating and mucosal autoantibody-producing B cells in patients with granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA). Daily tasks include characterizing B cell receptor genes, analyzing complex high-throughput datasets (e.g., B cell repertoire analysis), and actively presenting findings within the collaborative research consortium. Key requirements include a Master's degree in Life Sciences, an excellent command of English, and motivation to utilize bioinformatics approaches. The position offers comprehensive, structured training, integration into a dynamic, cutting-edge research environment utilizing techniques like single-cell sequencing, and a salary based on the German E13 TV-L scale (65%).

Experience
