Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical Operator in a full-continuous shift system for a global specialty chemicals and high-performance materials corporation. The core responsibilities include the monitoring and adjustment of process parameters within the raw material storage, sewage treatment plant, and wastewater system, coordinating closely with the control room. Day-to-day tasks also cover preparing and providing necessary production materials, managing sewage sludge processing and disposal, and conducting sample collection and transport. The ideal candidate must possess a completed technical education, such as an Industrial Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Chemical Operator, and have experience in monitoring and controlling production plants, particularly using process control systems. Shift readiness and very good proficiency in German are mandatory prerequisites for this well-compensated position under the chemical collective bargaining agreement.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical apprenticeship (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Chemical Operator, or comparable qualification)

Experience

  • Experience in monitoring and controlling production plants
  • Experience in handling process control systems
  • Knowledge in sewage treatment plants, wastewater treatment, and raw material management (advantageous)
  • Experience in handling hazardous goods (advantageous)
