Job Summary

This role is with a globally active specialty chemicals and high-performance materials group, focusing on wastewater management and analytical testing within a chemical plant environment. The Chemical Operator will be responsible for assessing and approving special wastewater streams, conducting extensive sampling of all wastewater flows, and calculating and documenting wastewater volume measurements. A core part of the job involves evaluating routine and special samples using DIN analysis methods, as well as calibrating, maintaining, and testing analytical equipment. Candidates must have a completed vocational training as a Chemical Operator or similar qualification, coupled with strong professional experience in sewage treatment plants. Physical resilience, including the ability to lift loads over 25kg, and proficiency in MS Office are essential prerequisites for this permanent position, which offers attractive conditions under the chemical industry collective agreement.
