Job Summary
This role is ideal for a qualified Chemical Technician or Industrial Mechanic ready to operate and maintain machinery within a modern power plant environment, serving the chemical industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and monitoring complex plant equipment, performing routine inspections and minor field maintenance, troubleshooting operational faults, and meticulously documenting all activities. A key focus is supporting the optimization of plant processes. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification in a relevant field (Chemical Technician or Industrial Mechanic) and crucially, an additional qualification as a Power Plant Operator or Boiler Attendant. Proficiency in process control technology and standard IT systems (MS Office) is required, along with the willingness to work in a rotating shift system.
