Job Summary

This role involves joining a dynamic onshore team in Geestland, Germany, focused on the maintenance, repair, and inspection of wind energy systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults in wind turbines. Day-to-day tasks include replacing defective components, professionally restoring systems, and meticulously documenting all work performed. This position is ideal for certified Electronics Technicians or Mechatronics Engineers who are comfortable working at great heights and are physically fit. While experience in wind energy is a plus, motivated career changers are welcome. The role offers the benefit of working close to home, usually allowing technicians to return every evening, and includes participation in extra-compensated on-call services to ensure 24/7 operational readiness of the turbines. Continuous professional development is supported through regular practical training.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Engineer, or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in wind energy (Ideal, but not mandatory)
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team
