In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, consulting, and problem analysis of PostgreSQL database landscapes for various clients. Key tasks include setting up, operating, and analyzing databases, as well as migrating and porting databases from on-premises environments to the cloud. You will also support clients with provisioning and automation tasks using tools like Ansible and Terraform. A crucial aspect of this position is knowledge sharing, where you will pass on your expertise to colleagues, students, and clients through project work, blogs, seminars, and conferences. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possesses at least three years of PostgreSQL administration experience, and is enthusiastic about current cloud technologies.
