Job Summary
This role is ideal for an Electrical Design Engineer who will be responsible for the planning and design of electrical components for control cabinets and automation systems within the special machine construction sector. Day-to-day tasks include creating circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and cable lists using the CAE system EPLAN P8, ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations (VDE, DIN EN). The engineer will also be crucial in preparing manufacturing documents, handling change management, and coordinating with interdisciplinary project teams across design, production, and project management. Candidates should possess a degree or qualification in electrical engineering or mechatronics, ideally with experience in EPLAN P8 and knowledge of safety concepts, including validation using SISTEMA. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, Technician (Techniker) qualification, Master Craftsman (Meister) qualification, or relevant vocational training with professional experience
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical or mechatronic fields (advantageous, but open to entry-level professionals)
- Experience with the CAE system EPLAN P8 for electrical and circuit diagram development (desirable)
- Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (VDE, DIN EN) (advantageous)
