Job Summary
This specialist role supports the Energy Management and Sustainability department of a public waste management association, contributing significantly to regional environmental efforts and the energy transition. The core responsibility involves assisting the team lead in the technical oversight and maintenance of critical energy infrastructure, including photovoltaic systems, building technology, process control systems, and transformer stations. Daily tasks include the planning and administration of necessary repairs, installations, and maintenance activities, as well as the commissioning of electronic devices such as frequency converters. The specialist is expected to independently perform troubleshooting and fault rectification for system disturbances, and manage the procurement of necessary spare parts and electrical materials. Candidates must hold a completed qualification in electrical engineering (as a technician, master electrician, or equivalent), possess strong knowledge of control and drive technology, and be proficient in handling electrical circuit diagrams. This position offers stable public service employment under the TVöD contract and flexible working models.
