Job Summary
This leadership role in Bremerhaven involves the technical and disciplinary management of the Manufacturing Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition from customer requirements to production readiness. Key daily activities include analyzing and assessing the feasibility of customer demands, planning and setting up manufacturing and relocation processes, and driving continuous process improvement to enhance overall efficiency. You will also be responsible for reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), leading various improvement projects, and managing master data creation (articles, Bills of Material) within the ERP system (FEPA). Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent professional experience, coupled with required training according to DIN EN 9100 standards. Strong communication skills and fluency in German, alongside intermediate English proficiency, are essential for success.
Required Skills
Education
University Degree (FH/TH/TU) in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; or comparable qualification combined with long-term professional experience and specialized advanced training.
Experience
- Experience in technical and disciplinary leadership of a department
