Job Summary
This role involves executing the complete lifecycle of automation projects, from initial planning and design to detailed construction, primarily serving clients in the chemical, mechanical, and plant engineering sectors. The Planning Technician will be responsible for creating comprehensive project documentation, including circuit diagrams, terminal plans, parts lists, and assembly drawings, utilizing the CAE system EPLAN P8. A key part of the job is actively contributing to the standardization of EPLAN templates and master data maintenance. The successful candidate will independently select components and suppliers based on technical criteria, coordinate electrical installation, and support the commissioning of measurement and control technology. This position requires a background as a certified Technician in Electrical or Automation Technology and strong familiarity with EPLAN P8 and MS Office applications.
Required Skills
Education
Certified Technician (Techniker) in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field, following a completed technical vocational training.
Experience
- Professional experience in planning, design, and execution of electrotechnical systems
- Several years of professional experience is advantageous
