Job Summary

This role involves the crucial installation, configuration, and commissioning of fiber optic networks, specifically within Network Level 4 (NE4). The IT Systems Electronics Technician will be responsible for the hands-on tasks of laying and splicing fiber optic cables, performing precise measurements, and documenting fiber routes. A key part of the job includes troubleshooting and resolving faults within the fiber optic infrastructure, as well as conducting regular maintenance. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as an IT Systems Electronics Technician or equivalent, possesses experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance, and is proficient in splicing and measuring cables.
