Job Summary

This part-time role (15-20 hours/week) in Ratingen supports the Financial Manager by ensuring timely completion of all statutory tax filings for a global refractory products manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing VAT returns (Umsatzsteuermeldung) and recapitulative statements (Zusammenfassende Meldung), assisting with Intrastat declarations, and supporting compliance related to trade tax, corporate tax, capital gains tax, and withholding tax. Key requirements include a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Tax/Finance or a qualification as a Certified Tax Specialist or Tax Consultant, coupled with several years of professional experience in taxation. The role demands strong analytical skills, a high degree of independence, and fluency in both German and English to manage communication effectively with tax advisors and internal teams.
