Job Summary

This role is for a Microbiological Quality Control Specialist to join a growing, family-owned pharmaceutical and cosmetics company in Bielefeld, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the microbiological quality of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, raw materials, and packaging components. Key daily tasks include performing microbiological testing, conducting hygiene controls in production and packaging areas, and maintaining laboratory equipment and spaces. A crucial part of the job involves developing and validating microbiological testing procedures, preparing nutrient media, and creating necessary documentation like standard operating procedures and validation reports. Candidates should possess a background in pharmaceutical engineering with a focus on microbiology, or relevant laboratory training, coupled with professional experience in quality control and knowledge of GMP regulations. Good written and spoken English skills are required, and an understanding of Artificial Intelligence applications is a plus.
