Job Summary

This leadership role at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics (IAF) involves managing and strategically developing the institute's cutting-edge research infrastructure, which includes a cleanroom, MOCVD machine hall, and extensive laboratory landscape. The Head of Research Infrastructure will drive continuous improvement, oversee investment planning, and potentially manage strategic customer relationships. They will also hold disciplinary responsibility for approximately 20 employees across Technical Services, IT, and Quality Management, ensuring the strategic alignment of these crucial support functions. Required Skills

Education

Completed natural science or technical degree (Master/Diploma), such as Physics or Electrical Engineering, ideally with a doctorate (PhD).
