Job Summary

This role is for a Project Manager/System Engineer specializing in Ground Control Station (GCS) and Antenna Mast Systems, focusing on the technical design, layout, and integration of mobile ground stations, from initial concept to field commissioning. The incumbent will operate at the intersection of mechanics, electronics, IT, and communication technology to develop robust, ergonomic, and highly available overall systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include system development within vehicle or container platforms, mechanical design (structures, layouts), and integration of complex antenna mast systems, ensuring stability and power supply. A key part of the job involves Requirements Engineering, supplier coordination (vehicles, masts, electronics), and supporting system tests and field trials. The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechatronics or a related field, experience in system integration (ideally special vehicle construction), and proficiency in CAD and network technology, coupled with strong communication skills in both German and English.
