This pivotal part-time role supports the School Board of the School of Arts, Information & Media at the Heidelberg Campus, focusing on strategic and operational efficiency. The Assistant acts as a key interface, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring internal faculty projects and initiatives, while actively participating in change management and workflow optimization processes. Daily tasks include comprehensive organizational support, such as managing the School Board's team, organizing complex meetings and committee sessions, and preparing essential decision-making documents and presentations. Furthermore, the role involves operational controlling of teaching loads and budgets, and supporting academic appointment procedures, procurement, and invoicing. Candidates must possess absolute organizational strength, clear prioritization skills, and fluency in both German and English. Professional experience in administrative coordination and project management is highly advantageous for success in this demanding, service-oriented academic environment.
