Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position in Bochum seeks a dedicated Materials Tester specializing in the measurement and quality control of turbine blades. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ultrasonic measurements, including setting up and operating ultrasonic devices to determine wall thicknesses and verify component integrity according to specifications. Daily tasks involve meticulous quality checks, visual inspections, and detailed documentation of measurement results using PC systems and the operational data acquisition system. Ideal candidates possess a completed technical or trade apprenticeship, preferably gained within a foundry environment, coupled with professional experience in an industrial production setting. This role demands strong manual dexterity, precision, reliability, and the ability to work effectively within a team under pressure.
