This role supports the certification and standards processes for a leading global manufacturer of exhaust and chimney systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing national approvals and certifications for chimney and exhaust systems, including performing VDI chimney height calculations and generating test orders. A key part of the job involves organizing component testing with external laboratories and creating detailed assembly and work instructions. Furthermore, the role requires providing technical consultation to customers, colleagues, and professional chimney sweeps regarding building codes, installation regulations, and standards. Candidates should have a background as a chimney sweep or in related HVAC/plumbing fields, ideally possessing experience in the metal processing industry, particularly with certifications or approvals. Strong MS Office skills and good English proficiency are essential for success in this customer-facing, quality-focused position.
